5 ways to blur out the chaos

Be it the busy streets (yes, still busy) of Mumbai that you are walking through or be it your unknowing constant sighs during the never-ending hours of work-from-home, all we need,

crave, and innately desire is a break.

But break?

The weekend is so far away!

Aww I feel you! It is daunting to get past the week without a mental breakdown! We have all been there.

Some of us are still having tough times working from home which has fully blurred the difference between professional and personal life. In such times all we need is an escape to have our own feel-good moments every day.

To keep ourselves sane is the most crucial yet challenging task right now because it's easy to feel low and be on a darker side but it's important to overcome it and say hello to the brighter side of your life.

Here's to how you must take care of yourself during these testing times to also become capable to look after others around you :

Share a cup of coffee with your loved ones :

We all have our go-to person with whom time just flies. Talking to them might just feel the easiest thing to do. Make a cup of coffee for yourself and your companion, speak your mind and relax.

As much as listening is important, being able to express the raw thoughts in your mind is the most liberating thing to do. You might just transport yourself to a happy place and feel better.

Spend time with nature :

It's amazingly refreshing to be able to sit amidst nature and embrace its beauty, to just be a part of what has created us. Having a day out in nature is like filling yourself with loads of energy just like caffeine does it for you. If you can start your day with a walk-in fresh air then even better, you just improved the scope of having a happier day for yourself.

Take time out to read :

You might have already encountered hundreds of thoughts about how you're burdened with so much of other tiring work. But, taking time out for reading is definitely worth it. A day full of information overload is common in all of our lives.

In such times it is important to take time out and detach from the world of media and read something mindful. This not only will calm you down but also help you practice mindfulness. You can add to your reading session, a cup of coffee just how you like it.

Listen to soothing music :

Let's just face it, we all have our playlists ready and handy for all our moods. We must just create one for our 'me time' as well. Listening to music is therapeutic and good weather can be a cherry on top for your happy days. Relaxing music will uplift your mood and slower your thoughts down. You will be able to focus and think clearly. It works wonders and everyone out there needs to try it out, when distressed.

Learn the art of doing nothing :

Keeping ourselves busy all the time is not healthy. Engaging yourself in multitasking is even dangerous. Multitasking might just seem an art that must be mastered but let's just put the facts out that multitasking reduces the productivity of our brain by 60% and not only that it wastes a lot of time because it apparently makes our brain move back and forth from one task to another without getting any actual work done.

It impedes the state of flow in individuals. You must learn the art of doing nothing sometimes. You can find your perfect place to sit and just sit. You ain't have to engage yourself in anything. It can be a park or your favorite coffee house or a library or anywhere out there. Being alone with your thoughts might just let you discover the best things about yourself and your existence. Try it out.

Amidst all the chaos, you can always slide in the doors of Cafephile and have your favorite coffee just in case you want to feel instantly happy.

We are always happy to serve brewing happiness to those who would want to smile every day.

Cheers to happy times!
